1. About Paris From Inside

 

The website www.parisfrominside.com (hereinafter referred to as PFI) is an e-commerce site offering two types of services:

• Guided tours, mainly located in Paris, which may include food tastings

• An online concierge service enabling customers to choose a hotel or restaurant according to predefined criteria. This service may, where appropriate, include a pre-booking of the proposed venue, bearing in mind that final payment for the hotel or restaurant service will never be made through PFI, but directly with the final operator (hotel or restaurant).

Our website is available worldwide.

  2. Scope of application

​

These PFI T&C apply to all visitors and users of the PFI website, and to all services offered.

The use of the PFI platform is for personal use only; this means that it is forbidden to use it for commercial or professional purposes.

By using the Website, you warrant that :

- you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts;

- you are not in any way prohibited by the applicable law in the jurisdiction in which you are currently located to enter into these Terms;

- you are at least 18 years old. If you are under the age of 18, you must ask a parent or guardian over the age of 18 to enter into these Terms on your behalf. As a parent or guardian of someone under the age of 18, you are responsible for ensuring that person's use of the Service is at all times in accordance with these Terms.

  3. Orders and Payment

The published price of the Activity or the Service includes any applicable taxes. If you have a promotional or discount code ("Code"), you may enter it on the relevant page of the Website prior to payment of your Activity or Service. We do not warrant or provide any guarantees that your Code will be accepted by the Website. If your Code is accepted by the Website, the Price will be adjusted accordingly. A Code can only be accepted at the time an Order is made and cannot be applied retrospectively.

Due to the nature of the business, you acknowledge and agree that the price may be subject to change and variation from time to time. Any changes in the price shall not be applicable to you once you have received Order Confirmation from us, save in the case of an obvious error.

In order to purchase one of the Activity or Service, you shall be required to follow the process on our Website and complete the relevant details we require to confirm purchase of your selected Activity or Service via the Website. You will be asked to provide customary billing information such as name, billing address and credit card information either to us or our payment processor. You agree to pay for your Order by one of the methods described on the Website. You hereby authorise the collection of such amounts using the method selected by you through the Website, either directly by us or indirectly, via our payment processor. If you are directed to our payment processor, you may be subject to terms and conditions governing use of their service. Please review such terms and conditions before using the processing services.

All purchases are subject to acceptance by us, and we will confirm such acceptance to you by sending you a confirmation e-mail.

 It is your responsibility to check the confirmation that is subject to your purchase and we are under no obligation to rectify any mistakes once the purchase has been done by you.

You are responsible for ensuring your e-mail address is accurate. We are not responsible for confirmation sent to incorrect e-mail addresses input by you.

  4. Cancellation policy

4.1 Private tours

Any change of date or content cannot be guaranteed and shall be applied subject to availability.

Any request for cancellation or change must be received by e-mail at : contact@parisfrominside.com
In case of cancellation, our refund policy is :

• You can cancel up to 48 hours in advance of the experience with 5% cancellation fees.

• If you cancel less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time (local time), 50% of the amount you paid will be refunded.

• If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start (local time), no refund.

Any interruption of the tour during its delivery, at the client’s wishes, shall not give rise to any refund.

Refund :
If a cancellation requires a refund of the amount, total or partial, the refund will be made in a month after the cancellation notice.

Meteorological conditions :
If the tour or a part of this tour can not be delivered because of weather conditions, it shall not give rise to any refund.

4.2 Hotel & Restaurant planner service :

Our service enables you to choose and, if necessary, pre-book a hotel or restaurant, according to the criteria you have previously defined.

Given the uncertain availability of hotels and restaurants in Paris, we cannot guarantee that all criteria will be met.

However, PFI will do its best to offer you at least 2 options as close as possible to your criteria, within 48 hours.

If we are unable to offer you 2 options by the date of your reservation, a refund will be made.

  5. Limitation of liability

​

PFI is not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

PFI will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under this Agreement that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control. An "Event Outside Our Control" means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks.

As part of the Food Tours offer, PFI cannot be held responsible for any damage caused by food poisoning or an allergic reaction following the absorption of a substance from one of our food partners.

Any food intolerance must be reported to our guide prior to the Food Tour.

As part of the Hotel & Restaurant planner service, PFI cannot be held responsible for the execution of the service by its hotel and restaurant partners. The final booking and transaction is between you and the hotel or restaurant, with PFI acting only as an advisor.

  6. Hyperlinking to our content

The following organizations may link to our Website without prior written approval:

• Government agencies;

• Search engines;

• News organizations;

• Online directory distributors may link to our Website in the same manner as they hyperlink to the Websites of other listed businesses; and

• System wide Accredited Businesses except soliciting non-profit organizations, charity shopping malls, and charity fundraising groups which may not hyperlink to our Web site.

These organizations may link to our home page, to publications or to other Website information so long as the link: (a) is not in any way deceptive; (b) does not falsely imply sponsorship, endorsement or approval of the linking party and its products and/or services; and (c) fits within the context of the linking party’s site.

We may consider and approve other link requests from the following types of organizations:
